I bring this up to everyone, to make sure you double check the line items they are charging you for it’s unfortunate that the nail technician entering the fees is dishonest and lacks integrity.Services: Pedicure, Acrylic nailsLet me start by saying that I never write reviews. (I attached a photo of my nails that were done yesterday, the technician wasn’t very good at making sure my nail bed and the powder around my cuticle was seamlessly blended).At this point, I’m extremely frustrated because the nail tech decided to add all these fees that were not applicable to the services provided. I asked why she would charge me when I did not get a tip, my nails were extremely short, and nothing was long about my nails. Then I see another charge for $5, this time for “long nails”. I explained to her that I’ve been here several times and no one has every charged me for the shape of my natural nails but she refused to remove the charge. I asked about the fee and she said she “has to charge me”. My nail naturally grows in an almond shape and I came to her with my nails already in that shape. To my surprise she charged me an additional $5 for the shape of my nail. I asked her about 3 times to keep cutting down and she insisted that the shape of my nails would not look good if it was much shorter.She finished the nails and I went to the counter to pay. I asked her to continue to shave down my nails because even though they weren’t long, I type better with short nails.
(No design, no extra length, nothing extra). I picked a pink color and asked for a powder overlay with my real nails. I did not complain and she continued the work. She laughed it off and kindly asked if she could assist me with picking the acrylic shavings out of my hair, I obliged.
In the process of shaving off the acrylic, particles went flying everywhere (on my shirt, pants, in my eyes, and into my hair).

I had a technician working on my pedicure and another one working on my hands. Waited a few minutes to be attended to which I didn’t mind. I will never forget the genuinely exceptional treatment. I may be relocating soon and I am sad that I can’t take the Aura Nail bar and staff with me. I have never experienced a nail shop which takes a special interest in their customer, which is in my opinion the component that sets them apart from the rest, they are truly the best. They have taken a special interest and often inquire about him and send special greetings. My son has accompanied me to the Aura Nail bar upon his visit from California, and he has also become a fan. The staff are very engaging, they make me want to do a happy dance. I also love the fact that they are interested in you not only as a valued customer, but as a person. Their goal is to ensure that you are satisfied with all of their many services and in my humble opinion, they have exceeded the Gold standard for nail salons. They are extremely friendly and provide exceptional and very meticulous and expert care, treatment and service for their customers. I have been coming here since I arrived in Dallas from California over a year ago.
